St. Joseph Community Chorus Grand Finale: Big Band and Broadway in USO Style

St. Joseph, [March 15, 2024] - Get ready to swing and sway at the biggest party of the year as the St. Joseph Community Chorus presents their grand finale concert of the season! Join us on Friday evening, April 19th at 7:30 PM for an unforgettable evening of music, dancing, and dessert at East Hills Mall Center Court.

Featuring the dynamic collaboration of the chorus alongside the St. Joseph Big Band and Riversong, this concert promises an electrifying fusion of Big Band classics and beloved Broadway hits, all presented in nostalgic USO style. The venue will be adorned with delightful decorations, setting the stage for a truly memorable experience.

Audiences can look forward to familiar tunes performed by the chorus and chamber choir, including classics like "The Nearness of You," "Not While I'm Around," and "Puttin' On The Ritz," as well as an enchanting medley from "The Wizard of Oz." Adding to the excitement, St. Joseph's own ensemble of Sweet Adelines International, Riversong, will grace the stage with enchanting renditions of "Mister Sandman" and other surprise numbers. Meanwhile, the toe-tapping rhythms of St. Joe's Big Band will have the crowd on their feet with chart-topping favorites like "Fly Me To The Moon" and many more.

Guiding us through this exhilarating evening will be none other than St. Joe's former mayor, Bill McMurray, serving as the evening's charismatic emcee. With his trademark humor and charm, Bill promises to keep the audience entertained and engaged throughout the night.

Plus, every ticket includes a delectable dessert and drink! Admission prices are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors, and students enjoy free admission with the option to purchase dessert for $5 (available only at the door). Guests are kindly requested to enter through the North door of the mall (between JC Penny and Party City), where ample parking and accessible access await.
