Do you love to sing? Have you considered joining the SJCC? We rehearse on Monday nights and are welcoming new singers for our 2025-26 season.

#wesingbecausewemust is a phrase often used by members of the SJCC. All singers in the area are encouraged to explore singing with us! All are welcome!

Rehearsals are held on Monday nights in Potter Hall on the campus of Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.

The chorus generally performs concerts in the fall, winter, and spring. The auditioned Chamber Choir is available to provide entertainment for community events.

2025-26 Season Rehearsals

SJCC welcomes new singers at the beginning of each season as well as after each concert.

This year, singers may join the chorus on October 20 to prepare for the Christmas concerts; January 5 to prepare for the February concert; and February 23 to sing the April concert. Here are the details.

Where: The regular rehearsal space is at Missouri Western State University, Potter Hall Choir Room, 4525 Downs Drive, St. Joseph

When: Mondays

Time: 7:00- 9:00 PM Rehearsal

No audition is required.
