The arts enrich our community—and the St. Joseph Community Chorus (SJCC) is proud to be a vital part of that tradition. This season, we're bringing you an exciting lineup of performances that showcase local talent, regional collaborations, and nationally recognized artists in some of St. Joseph’s most beautiful venues.
October – Our season opens with a powerful performance of Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass, featuring a professional orchestra, in the stunning St. James Catholic Church in South St. Joseph.
December – Celebrate the season with two holiday events:
Messiah Sing-Along – Sing your favorite choruses alongside the community in the historic First Presbyterian Church.
Christmas at the Cathedral – Experience the magic of the holidays in the Cathedral of St. Joseph as SJCC performs with Kansas City’s renowned handbell choir, Rezound!
February – Don’t miss your chance to hear the world-renowned jazz ensemble, New York Voices, live with the chorus at the Missouri Theater. Tickets to see them elsewhere cost more than an SJCC season ticket—this is a deal you don’t want to miss!
April – We close the season with a 45th Anniversary celebration, SJCC Greatest Hits, at First Presbyterian Church. Enjoy some of the most beloved music from our rich history, as selected by chorus members past and present.
